Classes

Invite students, don’t type them in.

Create a class, share one invite link, and students set up their own accounts. For students you already know, create personal links — one by one or from a CSV.

How students get into your class

Two ways in.

One class link for everyone, or personal links for students whose names you already have. Both end the same way: the student has their own account and is in your class.

01

Create

A name is enough.“Maths 8b” or “A-level English” — that is all a new class needs.
02

Share

One link, valid for up to 30 days.24 hours, 7 or 30 days. You share it yourself — in a chat or in the lesson.
03

Join

Students sign themselves up.Create a new account or sign in with an existing one — and they are in the class.
Invite studentsInvite students

Bomi keeps only a fingerprint of the class link. It is shown once; anyone who has it can join until it expires. A new link replaces the old one.

01

Class link

One link for the whole room.

Each class has exactly one active link. Before creating it, you confirm you are allowed to share it.
02

Personal links

For students you already know.

Name and email, and the learning profile if you like. Up to 50 at once from a CSV; each link lasts 30 days and belongs to that email.
03

Several classes

One student, several classes.

Maths on Tuesdays, English on Thursdays: a student can be in several of your classes with one account.
Per class

Set it once, everywhere.

Every class has three settings. They apply to the students in it until you change them.

  • Subject — study packs for students in the class start with it prefilled
  • Languages — a learning and a support language from English, German, Korean and Japanese, applied to every student in the class at once if you like
  • Leaderboard — with real names, anonymised as “Otter #42”, or not at all, optionally reset every week
Assign

One assignment, each student in the class.

When you assign homework, pick single students, a class, or everyone. On sending, Bomi creates a separate assignment for each student in the class.

  • Every student hands in on their own and gets their own feedback
  • Students who join later do not get earlier assignments automatically — assign those again if needed
Overview

Spot the class that’s gone quiet.

Every class card shows when someone last handed something in. Two weeks without a submission — or none yet — and the class is marked inactive; empty classes are marked too.

Your class, your rules.

Classes and invite links are part of the 30-day Guided Evaluation and the Founding Tutor subscription — with no price per student.
